"Maintenance notice felt way too last-minute"
I guess I assumed no big warning meant it wouldn’t be a big deal, which was my bad, but they barely gave us a heads up about the maintenance. Then when it caused issues, they acted like it was just normal and expected. Frustrating experience overall.

Just a heads up to anyone thinking about using this: managing my account has been way more frustrating than it should be. I keep running into random errors, and the menus are confusing enough that simple changes take forever. Definitely be prepared for a messy experience.

"Server setup took forever"
I waited for hours for the server to be provisioned and it still wasn’t working, I mean, I kept checking, thinking maybe it just needed another minute, but nope. Frustrating experience overall

"The setup wait had me nervous, but it turned out fine"
I was bracing myself for some long, painful server setup saga, but it ended up being way quicker than I expected. There was a bit of waiting at the start, which had me checking the screen like something dramatic was about to go wrong, but it really wasn’t bad. Once it was up, everything worked like it should. No major complaints from me, solid 4 stars...

I never really got clear answers, which made the whole experience frustrating. I just needed a bit more reassurance and straightforward communication so I knew what was going on.

Support did get back to me, but yeah, it wasn’t exactly quick. I think it took about a day, and I had to follow up once, which was a bit annoying. But hey, doesn’t that happen sometimes? In the end, they sorted the issue out, so I can’t complain too much

"I had an issue with my service and..."
I had an issue with my service and, to their credit, opening a ticket was straightforward. The first couple of replies felt a little generic though, and I had to repeat myself, which I think other customers would probably find frustrating too.

In the end, they did fix the problem, and the last tech I dealt with seemed to really know what he was doing. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, just slower than I expected, so I’d give it 3 stars.

I’ve been using noc.com to keep an eye on a few sites, and to be fair, it does catch downtime and send alerts when something goes wrong. So yeah, it basically does what I signed up for.

That said, the timing can be kind of annoying. Sometimes the alert shows up later than I’d like, and a few times I got notified after the problem had already fixed itself, which is frustrating when you’re waiting around trying to react quickly. The dashboard is usable, but it took me a bit to get comfortable with it.

Overall, it’s decent for basic monitoring, but I wouldn’t call it perfect. I just wish it were a little more consistent and quicker with alerts, because that’s kind of the whole point

I reached out with what I thought were basic DNS and routing questions, but the replies made it feel like we were all discovering the internet together in real time. It took way longer than it should have to get anywhere, and I never really felt like the technical side was being handled by someone confident. Not exactly reassuring...

"Managed service didn’t live up to expectations"
I was disappointed with their managed service. Replies were slow, the same issues kept popping back up, and it never really felt like anyone was taking ownership of the problem. For the price, I expected a much better level of support. I wouldn’t use them again...

"Pretty helpful docs, though maybe a bit uneven"
I used the Nantahala Outdoor Center docs while setting up a few things, and overall they were easy to follow. The screenshots and examples definitely helped me figure stuff out, though a couple of pages seemed maybe a little outdated or like they skipped a small step here and there. I wasn’t always 100% sure I was doing it right, but I still managed to find what I needed without opening a support ticket, so I’d say they’re good overall.

"Customization felt limited and a bit confusing"
I tried noc.com because I was hoping I could set things up more my own way, but the customization options ended up being limited. Even basic changes felt more complicated than they should’ve been, and a few options I expected just weren’t there. I also got a bit confused because the email made it sound like one thing was possible, but inside the account it seemed like something else. Support was fine, but they didn’t really solve that part. If you need a lot of flexibility, this probably isn’t the best pick.

I’d been using noc.com for a while and thought I was covered, but when I actually needed to restore a backup, it turned into a mess. Some files were missing, and then I had to sit around waiting in the support queue forever just to get help. By the time someone got back to me, I was already frustrated. I just don’t feel like I can trust it again.

From my experience, the site just went down too often for me to feel comfortable sticking with it. I get that occasional issues happen with any service, but support felt slow whenever I needed help, and after a while it became more frustrating than it was worth. Personally, I just didn’t feel like I could rely on it

"Just didn’t feel right to me"
I tried using noc.com, but i couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off. The information wasn’t clear enough, and when I tried to find straight answers, it felt like I was going in circles. I’ve had a bad experience before with a site that gave me the same kind of uneasy feeling, so I decided to trust my gut and back out. Maybe it works fine for other people, but I personally didn’t feel safe trusting it.

"Hosting is fine, but the control panel needs work"
The hosting itself has been alright, but the control panel is kind of a pain to use. It feels cluttered, and I had to spend way too much time digging around just to find basic settings. Once you figure it out, it works, but it’s definitely not the most user-friendly setup

"Really solid security, just a little slow at times"
I’ve been using noc.com for a while now, and overall the security feels really solid. The login alerts and account controls are easy to understand, and I like that it doesn’t feel too loose or careless. I did have to verify a couple of things, which was a little annoying in the moment, but I’d rather deal with that than worry about my account being risky. Support did answer my security question, just not really as fast as I would’ve hoped. Overall, it’s been a good experience, with just a few small delays here and there.

It wasn’t bad overall, but I was a little unsure about the pricing. I had to pause and double-check a few things because it wasn’t totally clear what everything would cost.
